About Revenue Arc
Revenue Arc helps technology, software and services companies grow in a way that lasts, and helps the investors behind them decide whether that growth is real before they commit to it. It works with companies roughly between £10 million and £250 million in revenue. Its focus is narrow by choice: whether a company’s growth will last, and what to do about it.
The work starts with an accurate picture of where the company actually stands. What it needs is then decided by the evidence, not chosen in advance.
The independent read
Running a company at pace takes conviction, and conviction makes the plan hard to see from the outside. That is the use of an independent read. It is not attached to the plan, and it reports what the evidence shows rather than what would be easier to hear. Where the read is done with a company’s own team, the picture belongs to them.
The evidence behind the judgement
The read is not built on instinct. It rests on The Truthscaling Study, a study of 182 business-to-business technology companies: 78 that failed to scale and 104 that scaled and held, all 182 scored on one instrument locked before any company was read. What separated the two groups is what Revenue Arc looks for, and its instruments are built from that study.
Leading Revenue Arc
Revenue Arc was founded and is led by Mark C. Ward. The person who does the reading is the one who has spent thirty years doing the work, inside B2B technology companies from global businesses to sponsor-backed scale-ups. The method and the research come out of that experience. A fuller account is on the Meet the Founder page.
Successful scaling starts from an accurate account of where a company stands. That account will never be found in a CRM or from an AI agent offering insights. Get the reading right and the work becomes clear. Get it wrong and capital, hiring and effort only compound the mistake.
